FantasyButler ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information, in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

1. Information We Collect

When you sign up for and use FantasyButler, we may collect:

• Name — as provided during onboarding
• WhatsApp number — used to deliver alerts and messages
• Sleeper username and associated league data — used to sync your rosters, generate draft grades, trade ideas, and waiver suggestions
• Payment and billing information — processed and stored by Stripe on our behalf; we do not store full card numbers
• Subscription status — including trial and billing status, stored to manage your account
• Usage data — such as when you interact with onboarding or the Service, for troubleshooting and improvement purposes

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and personalise the Service, including sending WhatsApp alerts relevant to your fantasy leagues
• Process subscription payments and manage billing via Stripe
• Communicate with you about your account, including trial-ending and billing reminders
• Improve and maintain the Service
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services We Use

To operate FantasyButler, we share limited data with the following third parties, each of which has its own privacy practices:

• Sleeper — to retrieve your public league and roster data via their public API
• FantasyCalc — to retrieve dynasty trade values (no personal data is sent to FantasyCalc)
• Meta / WhatsApp Business Platform — to deliver messages to your WhatsApp number
• Stripe — to process subscription payments securely
• Hosting providers — Render, Vercel, Neon, and Upstash — to host and operate the Service infrastructure

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using reputable third-party infrastructure providers (Neon for database storage, Upstash for caching, Render and Vercel for hosting). We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, including restricting access to production systems and following secure development practices.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you cancel your subscription, we may retain limited data for a reasonable period for record-keeping, billing history, and legal compliance purposes, after which it will be deleted or de-identified.

6. Your Rights

Under Australian privacy law, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal or legitimate business retention needs
• Withdraw consent to receive WhatsApp messages by cancelling your subscription or contacting us directly

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

8. Overseas Disclosure

Some of our service providers (including Stripe, Meta, and our hosting providers) may store or process data outside Australia. By using the Service, you consent to this cross-border handling of your information, which is necessary to provide the Service.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated where practicable. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
